A rare 1980s Boucherouite rug from Morocco’s Azilal region in the High Atlas Mountains. This near-square, handwoven masterpiece is rich in tribal motifs and abstract design, showcasing the creativity and expressive artistry of the Berber weavers.
The rug’s palette combines blue, purple, red, and orange with scattered multi-coloured flecks against natural off-white areas.
